Dates for mail to arrive in time for Christmas

The Postmaster General at the Anguilla General Post Office would like to inform the general public of the deadlines for mail to be posted to arrive at the intended destination in time for Christmas Day, Dec. 25th, 2009. These destinations and deadlines are as follows:

10th December 2009 (Thursday) - Africa, Asia, Australia, Canada.

11th December, 2009 (Friday) - Europe, South and Central America, UK, USA.

17th December, 2009 (Thursday) -  Caribbean.

21st December, 2009  (Monday) -Anguilla.

It should be noted that the dates presented are NOT the cut off dates for doing Christmas mailing but are rather intended to help ensure the timely delivery of mail in time for Christmas Day, Dec. 25th, 2009.

All are encouraged to do their posting early so as to allow ample time for delivery during a traditionally hectic season in the Postal Service.

The Postmaster General and staff would also like to take this opportunity to wish all their many and valued customers as well as the general public a merry and blessed Holiday Season.
